Description The IDEAL 61-535 is a 120V AC Circuit Breaker Finder that automatically identifies a circuit breaker/fuse protecting a live branch circuit. It consists of a transmitter and a receiver. The Transmitter sends a signal over the conductors when connected to an energized circuit. It also identifies the presence of power and indicates corrector/incorrect wiring conditions via illuminated Green and Red LED’s and contains a GFCI Trip Tester. The receiver reads the transmitter’s signal and identifies the breaker/fuse energizing the circuit by illuminating a flashing green LED and emitting beeps once it determines the breaker/fuse with the strongest signal. The receiver also senses the presence of AC voltage (60 - 600 V AC) via and non-contact voltage (NCV) sensor in the tip. The receiver indicates the presence of AC voltage by illuminating a red flashing LED and emitting a beeping sound. The audible tone for both the breaker finding mode and the NCV mode can be muted via a button for working in noise sensitive areas. The receiver also includes a work light that can be operated independently for work in poorly lit conditions. Description The IDEAL 61-557 Voltage Continuity Tester is a CAT IV 600 V rated auto ranging average root mean square (ARMS) digital meter that measures AC and DC voltage, Low Impedance AC Voltage (Lo Z) (to reduce the possibility of false readings due to ghost voltages) , and continuity, via test-leads. It detects the presence of voltage between 90V to 600V AC via a non-contact sensor in the top center of the meter and can perform a GFCI trip test via the probes and test button. The meter has an LCD display that can be backlit, and a built-in flashlight that can be illuminated when working in poor or zero lighting conditions. The unit uses an illuminated red LED in the center of meter and audible tones to notify when voltage is above 36V AC / 50V DC , when continuity is detected and when the NCV senses voltage within its set range. The back of the meter has built-in two position dual probe holder; the lower position allows for probe storage, the higher position allows for and testing or measurement holding the meter and secured probe in one hand and the probe in the other hand, or for both probes to be secured in the tip while conducting outlet testing. The meter has a hanging strap mount (compatible with all other IDEAL meters with this feature) that allows for a hanging strap (sold separately) to be attached to the meter so it can be hung from a nail, screw or magnetic surface. Description An all-in-one basic Voice-Data-Video tester for verifying proper wiring of low-voltage and data communications cables. The primary function of the VDV is the wiremap test.
