Description The Fluke 233 Digital Multimeter with its removable display gives you the flexibility to take measurements in hard to reach places or in areas with restricted access. You can be in two places at once and reduce the risk of arc flash by separating yourself from hazardous measurement situations. Just connect the meter to the test point and then place the display in a location up to 10 meters (33 ft.) away where you can see it. No more having to stretch into tight spots or hard to reach locations to take measurements. No more having to hold both the meter and the test leads to make a measurement. The Fluke 233 is ideal for any application where the measurement point is separated from controls or where you can't stay close to the meter during measurements due to hazards, moving machinery or in clean rooms. Plus, it features True RMS AC voltage and current for accurate measurements on non-linear signals. Features True RMS Digital Multimeter with detachable display Measures up to 1000 VAC and DC Measures up to 10 A (20 A for 30 seconds) Provides a 10,000 μF capacitance range Measures frequency to 50 kHz Includes a built-in thermometer to measure temperature without a separate instrument Radio transmitter automatically turns off the when the display is connected to the meter so you can use it as a conventional multimeter Easy to read display with large digits and bright backlight Delivers approximately 400 hours of battery life Offers resistance, continuity, and diode test Features a removable magnetic display that can be conveniently mounted where it can be easily seen Low power wireless technology allows the display to be moved up to 10 meters (33 ft.) away from the point of measurement, without causing measurement interference Allows you to take measurements without holding the meter, to improve visual focus on probes and augment safe electrical measurements Provides auto power-off to maximize battery life Features Min/Max, and Average recording to capture variations automatically Technical Information Accuracy specifications DC voltage Range 0.1 mV to 1000 V Accuracy 0.25% + 2 AC voltage Range 0.1 mV to 1000 V Accuracy 1.0% + 3 DC current Range 1 mA to 10 A Accuracy 1.0% + 3 AC current Range 1 mA to 10 A Accuracy 1.5% + 3 Resistance Range 0.1 Ω to 40 MΩ Capacitance Range 1 nF to 9999 μF Resolution 1nF Frequency Range 5 Hz to 50 kHz Resolution 0.01 Hz Counts 6000 Temperature -40°C to +400°C Power AA batteries: Three for main body two for display Battery life 400 hours Wireless frequency 2.4 GHz ISM Band 10 meter range Safety rating CAT IV 600 V , CAT III 1000 V General specifications Basic features AC true-rms Yes Ranging Auto/manual Display Backlight Yes Data storage Min/Max/Avg Yes Other features Battery type AA alkaline Removable display Yes Warranty and protection Safety rating CAT IV 600 V/CAT III 1000 V External protection Rubber overmold Warranty Three-years Size (H x W x L) 5.3 x 9.3 x 19.3 cm (2.08 x 3.6 x 7.6 in) Weight 604 g (1.3 Ib) Document Datasheet User's Manual Quick Reference

Description The Fluke 87V Industrial Multimeter provides the resolution and accuracy to efficiently troubleshoot motor drives, plant automation, power distribution, and electromechanical equipment - even in loud, high-energy, and high-altitude locations. The 87V is designed so you can work more efficiently. Easy-access door for fast battery changes without breaking the calibration seal Analog bar graph for fast changing or unstable signals Large digit display with bright, two-level backlight for easier reading in low light Touch Hold keeps readings on display even after removing probes The 87V lets you identify complex electrical problems fast. It supports accurate measurements on VFDs using a low-pass filter. The meter also captures intermittent as fast as 250 µS using Peak Capture. High-frequency, high-energy noise generated by large drive systems is blocked from your measurements with specially designed shielding. All the inputs in the 87V are updated to the third edition of the EN 61010-1 to CAT III 1000 V and CAT IV 600 V. The meter is designed to withstand spikes of more than 8000 V. You also benefit from an audible Input Alert warning if the test leads are placed in the incorrect input jacks for the measurement being made. The 87V has a removeable holster that also holds a test probe during testing for easier viewing. Relative mode lets you remove test lead resistance, improving accuracy of low-resistance measurements. To make your life even easier, the 87V fits into an optional magnetic hanger for easy set-up and viewing while freeing your hands for other tasks.
