Description The 62-200 LinkMaster ™ is our basic wiremapper for identifying wiring and continuity errors in twisted pair cabling. Wiremappers are used to verify if the cable is physically terminated properly at both ends and that there are no major cable defects present in the cable, such as cut conductors, that would prevent signal continuity. Colored LED lights identify pass/fail conditions of each pair of wires in RJ-45 8 conductor cables. This tester is used for testing RJ-45 connector cables terminated to Cat 3/5/5e/6/6a twisted pair cables. When the test is activated, LinkMaster ™ checks each pair of the cable for any opens (unterminated or cut conductors), shorts (cut or nicked conductors that come into contact), miswires (wires out of order – not consistent at both ends), reversals (one pair miswired), split pairs (wired correctly but using wrong conductor order and grouping). Any pair that fails is indicated with a red LED light for easy visual indication of a non-passing cable. Shield continuity can also be tested on shielded connectors and cables. Debug feature cycles through each pair so the user can see the pass/fail status of each pair one at a time. Single button operation simplifies the use of the LinkMaster ™ . Includes main test unit and remote unit. Includes 4 1.5V LR44 batteries for main unit. Remote does not require batteries. Features LED based wiremapper verifies cable continuity Identifies errors by pair: shorts, opens, miswires, reversals, and split pairs Tests for shield continuity; Voice/Data/Video LCD based wire mapper verifies cable continuity Designed for Cat 3/5/5e/6/6a cables RJ-45 interface for 8 conductor twisted pair cables Document Brochure

Description The IDEAL family of Feed-Thru products has expanded to include two new modular plug connectors. Available in a shielded or unshielded model, these single piece 8P8C RJ-45 connectors are designed to work with cable conductors ranging from 22 to 24 AWG solid with an overall diameter of 0.040” - 0.048” per conductor. The single piece Feed-Thru design simplifies the challenges faced when assembling and terminating twisted pair cables with larger diameter conductors, over 0.041”, when use of a standard in-line connector is not an option. A unique staggered conductor hole layout and multi-length contact pins are incorporated to accommodate the larger conductors. The single-piece housing design helps to funnel the conductors through the connector and out of the Feed-Thru end. No precision length trimming, load bars or multi-piece assemblies are required. The connectors are then terminated with the FT-45 ™ Modular Plug Crimp Tool. The FT-45 ™ Crimp Tool does not require any adjustments or blade changes to use these connectors. The shielded connector is designed for 0.040” through 0.048” insulated conductors which are typically found in CAT6A, CAT6, and CAT5e shielded cables. The unshielded connector handles the same range, but is used primarily for CAT6A and thicker CAT6 unshielded cables. For twisted pair cables with maximum conductor diameters of 0.41” or less, we recommend using the in-line versions of our CAT5e or CAT6 Feed-Thru connectors. Feature Feed-Thru Modular Plug For insulated conductors of 0.040" - 0.048" diameter CAT6A/6 shielded cable compatible for above diameter range Max jacket diameter of .320" Staggered pin and conductor design Crimp with FT-45 ™ 30-495 tool 50 micron gold plated contact area UL Listed E512035 Technical Information Quantity: Card of 50 Cable Type: CAT6A Termination Method: Crimp Document Catalogue Brochure

Description The 85-365 shielded Feed-Thru CAT5e modular plug simplifies cable to connector assembly by allowing the wires to feed-thru the front end of the connector after cable insertion allowing the user to verify the conductors are in the correct order before crimping the connector. The 85-365 has an attached metal shell that is designed to provide a continuous path for the cable shielding to pass through the connector and into the device's shielded port. The connector has internal shield connection points on the top and bottom of the connector for cable foil or drain wire to make contact within the plug. The plugs are compatible with shielded or unshielded CAT5e cables with conductors that have a maximum insulated diameter of 0.041". The single piece design uses a feed-thru style cable preparation leaving about 1" of conductors exposed to feed-thru the plug prior to termination. An additional step requires the foil be folded back over the jacket, or drain wire wrapped, to ensure conductivity with the plug shield. This connector is compatible with the IDEAL 30-495 modular plug crimping tool, or the 33-507 and 33-508 Hip Kits. Features Feed-Thru style simplifies assembly and verification of correct wire order Internal shield design for contact with cable foil or drain wire For shielded cables with a maximum insulated conductor diameter of 0.041" 8-position, 8-contact RJ-45 with 50 micron gold plated pin contacts Max recommended outer cable diameter of 0.260" Document Instruction

All splitters include an internal printed circuit board design inside of a nickel plated zinc die cast housing which helps to improve overall splitter performance in return loss, insertion loss, and port-to-port isolation measurements, resulting in a stronger, cleaner signal with more protection from outside signal interference. All 1 GHz splitters have a soldered back (not glued) for improved EMI/RFI performance. Machine formed threads on the F ports allow for smooth connector mating. Splitters include a grounding screw port for attaching ground wires and two user accessible mounting holes. For best system performance, choose a splitter with the minimum number of outputs for your application requirements. This minimizes attenuation/signal weakness to each of the ports and provides the strongest signal to each individual device. Install splitter as close as possible the devices receiving the split cables. This minimizes the length the split (attenuated) signal needs to travel. Use F-port terminator caps (85-073) on all unused splitter and wallplate ports to minimize signal reflections. Features Splits 1 input signal into 3 balanced output signals Designed for use in Digital Cable TV and standard coax splitting applications 5 MHz to 1 GHz bandwidth Internal printed circuit board for improved electrical performance Nickel plated zinc construction EMI/RFI shielding effectiveness: >-120dB Insertion loss: 7dB to 8dB over rated frequency range For 75Ω coaxial cable systems For splitters requiring power pass ports, see the 2.4 GHz splitter section
